BIO

Michelle Kurlan is a New York City based artist who has been in a variety of shows throughout the United States and Italy.  Her paintings are in private collections around the world.  After receiving her undergraduate degree in painting from the University of Maryland, Michelle received her Masters from New York University. The studio-based program was located in Venice, Italy.  Since her graduation she has received 4 studio residencies through the non-profit Chashama.  Most recently, she participated in a summer program in Barcelona, Spain with the School of Visual Arts.
