ARTIST STATEMENT

My artwork helps me find solace and peace within a world of chaos. Transformation, transparencies and layers are all words that resonate within. Finding beauty in objects that are not normally seen for their splendor. Execution of the series is achieved by submerging myself into these objects through photos, collage, paint, clay, plastic, tubing, and other found materials. The work emerges within the dichotomy of both play and manipulation.
